We absolutely love this recipe! This was originally from our dear friend, B, and it’s been a fan favorite of my kids ever since. We seriously make them ALL THE TIME, like anytime we have two ripe bananas that need to go! I hope your toddlers enjoy this recipe as much as mine do.
Chocolate Chip Zucchini Banana Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup mashed banana, about 2 large
- 1 cup grated zucchini, about 1 zucchini
- 1½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and spray with oil.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt.
- In the bowl of the mixer, add vegetable oil and sugar. Mix well. Add egg, mix again. Add the zucchini and mix to combine. Slowly add dry ingredients to bowl, alternate by adding a bit of mashed banana.
- Fold in the chocolate chips. Using an ice cream scoop, fill muffin cups about ⅔ full. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
