Use a #40 disher for evenly sized cookies, each dough ball will be approximately 1.5 tablespoons, and this recipe should yield 2 dozen cookies

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
12 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 large yolk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl.
Using stand mixer fitted with paddle, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add both eggs and vanilla, beat until combined. Add flour mixture in 2-3 additions until just combined, scraping down bowl as needed. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
Use disher to form cookie dough balls. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Let cookies cool on sheet for 1-2 minutes before transferring over to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
